    Hello

    I purchased this theme today and really like it however, The button shortcode is missing from the visual editor. All other shortcode icons are there. Any idea why it’s missing?

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    Please, clarify what shorcode button do you mean? Show me on a screenshot and after what actions is this happened?

    Use this shotcode with tag <a> http://prntscr.com/8tc7ng -> http://prntscr.com/8tc81e:
    [pricing_table][pricing_column title="Standard"][pricing_price currency="$" price="9.99" time="month"][/pricing_price][pricing_row]Feature 1[/pricing_row][pricing_footer]<a href="#" class="btn btn-large firm">Buy now!</a>[/pricing_footer][/pricing_column][/pricing_table]

    That did the trick thank you.

    I did notice that the shortcut for the button shortcode isn’t available yet in the visual editor.

    Another thing I ran into today is even though I don’t have Skype info to put into the contact area, the logo is still showing up on the website. How do I disable that?

    Also, in the footer widget area, the Widget Styles color selectors are not working or responding when I change them. I try to change the background and text color but nothing happens.

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    1. In order to hide Skype logo you can add this css into style.css (go to menu Appearamce-> Editor)

     i.icon-skype.firm {
        display: none;
    }

    2. In order to change widget backgroundn you can add this css code

    .widget_mid .widget {
        background: green;
    }

    You can use this code for widget title color

    .widget_main h3 {
    color: red;
    }

    That is fantastic thanks for the quick response.

    On my page where I’m putting the tables, if I add text content to go along with the pricing tables, how do I keep that from showing up on the home page pricing table area?

    You can create default page with text you need.
    Than go to menu Appearance -> Theme Options -> Pricing Table tab -> and add pre-created page via Section Excerpt field http://prntscr.com/8tjpul

    Hello, Corey!
    I can propose css:

    Excellent thanks for the quick response. Worked like a champ!

    Where would I go to change the font size of the page titles? The client thinks they to large so I need to reduce them in size just for the page titles.

    You can use this css:

    .page_tit {
        font-size: 30px;
    }

    Thanks Again! Worked great.

    I have a question and it’s probably simple but I can’t figure it out.

    I added a testimonial page and want to insert the testimonies I created but I don’t see how to do it. Is there a short code to use or…..?

    Also, I was communicating with another moderator and mentioned to her that the shortcode shortcuts, that are used in the visual editor, the one for adding a button is not listed or shown. How can that be added?

    Also I just noticed, the css you sent me to reduce the title size, does not work on the blog page.

    Sorry, also on the single post page. http://4bwebdesigntest.com/lake-fork/2015/09/26/september-2015/

    Also, on this single page, how to change the color of the comment box. It’s a really dark gray now and would lighten up to a light gray. Then the tags below are in red but would like to change that color as well.

    Testimonials which you added via wp-admin > Testimonials used on Pricing Table section. But you can using shortcode Add a quote in order to add it on any place.
    What button you mean?
    Css for blog and post:

    .id_blog h1 {
        font-size: 30px;
    }

    Css for comment form:

    #commentform input, #commentform textarea {
        background-color: rgba(100, 100, 100, 1);
    }
    #commentform code {
        color: rgba(100, 100, 100, 0.8);
    }

    You can set color as name (white,red) or as hex or in rgb.

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    Theme hasn’t shortcode of the button. You can use tag <a> for this purpose:
    <a href="#" class="btn btn-large firm">Buy now!</a>

    I did as you suggested:

    You can create default page with text you need.
    Than go to menu Appearance -> Theme Options -> Pricing Table tab -> and add pre-created page via Section Excerpt field http://prntscr.com/8tjpul

    But the text from the page is still showing on the home page.

    Also, I’m trying to change the background of all pages and blog page to a light grey, but it’s not changing from white I started with. Is there is a css I can add to overide? #f4f4f4

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    I need to check how did you add the page with text? (give me WP access) Do you want here the text http://prntscr.com/8tw3c9?
    For background add this css:

    body {
        background: #f4f4f4 !important;
    }

    The text is actually there on the home page but what I did was change the text color to match the background so you don’t’ see it.

    Thanks for the css for body background but I didn’t realize it that when I changed it, the sidebar widget background is white. What would the css code be to change it from white to f4f4f4?

    Replace previously code with this one:

    .widget_text, body {
        background: #f4f4f4 !important;
    }

    just you image has white background http://prntscr.com/8tw7ka. And I don’t see any excerpt text in pricing section.

    OK. Please look at the pricing table again on home page. I changed the text color where you can see it. The only way I can NOT for it to show on the home page is to either remove the text from the page http://4bwebdesigntest.com/lake-fork/guide-packages/ or change the color so you can see it against the background on the home page.

    Hello

    My clients asked me to put the recent posts on the home page, Fishing Reports To show four of them which I was able to do however, they do not use photos for their post so how would I disable just the image portion of that on the home page?

    Also, they don’t want the post title to drop down when you hover over it. Needs to be static.

    Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    In order to hide the images add this css rule in style.css:

    .team_container img{
        display: none;
    }

    For disable animation:

    .mycarousel2 li:hover h3 {
        transform: none !important;
    }

    That’s awesome thank you!

    I’m using the excerpt to control how much content is displayed, then added a button to click to the post itself. If you look here, you will see the text on the button is the same color as the button itself, then when you hover, the hover color is white with the gray text. What I would like to control, just on this button on recent post on home page is:

    button color – #3d7f78
    button Text color – white
    button Hover color – #555555
    button Hover Text Color – White

      #recent .mycarousel2 li:hover h3 {

    Sorry to ask this. Earlier, you sent me this to keep from moving while hover.

    #recent .mycarousel2 li:hover h3{
    transform: none !important;
    }

    It’s still good however, now the client would like to make it link to the actual post using the #3d7f78 for link color and #555555 for hover color.

    I also noticed on the team member pages, the social icon color is all white and hovers to the #55555 color. It’s underneath the name of the team member.

    It’s not representing the icon. In this case it’s a Facebook icon.

    Yes, it does open in a new link now but you can’t tell it’s a facebook social icon. It’s just a white square and when you hover over it, it turns gray and a title pops up that says facebook.

    No one will know what it is. It doesn’t have the “f” so people know it’s facebook.

    The problem I’m having is it’s based on words so therefore they don’t always line up. Can we do it for characters instead of words and so it doesnt’ truncate the last word?

    I found this in some research but not sure if it would apply here.

    function get_excerpt(){
    $excerpt = get_the_content();
    $excerpt = preg_replace(” (\[.*?\])”,”,$excerpt);
    $excerpt = strip_shortcodes($excerpt);
    $excerpt = strip_tags($excerpt);
    $excerpt = substr($excerpt, 0, 40);
    $excerpt = substr($excerpt, 0, strripos($excerpt, ” “));
    $excerpt = trim(preg_replace( ‘/\s+/’, ‘ ‘, $excerpt));
    $excerpt = $excerpt.’… more‘;
    return $excerpt;
    }

    Hello, 4BWebDesign!
    I want to propose you other solution without code changes.
    You should use field Excerpt in post editor.
    So, firstly, open your post editor and click on Screen Editor http://prntscr.com/8uch45
    Check “Excerpt”. http://prntscr.com/8uche4
    Now you can fill this field in and text will appear on your parallax page. http://prntscr.com/8uci2f

    Yes thank you. I believe your right, that would be the best way.

    I’ve been going through testing all aspects of the site and noticed that the post titles and team member titles are really generic. They are using only the post name and the site title. I’m using a plugin called All In One SEO pack which lets me name each page specifically however I cannot change the titles for Team Members or the post.

    Is there an easy way to achieve this? All pages have “Lake Fork Guide Service | (page name)” Is there a way I can set the post title tags and team member title tags to match this?
